The Meridiana Wine Estate, a fine wine producer in Malta since the mid 1990s, lies at the centre of the island in agricultural land with superb views of Mdina, Malta’s medieval walled capital. The estate, which has association with noted Italian wine producer Marchese Piero Antinori, has pioneered quality wines from international and local grape varieties from this single, niche vineyard.
As a venue, the estate offers a variety of themed events for groups, both large and small, including wine tours and tastings but can be easily used for any function. The building, based on an original traditional Maltese farmhouse, includes cellars and the winery as well as function rooms, verandas and terraces overlooking its attractive 18 hectares estate. It is a perfect setting in inland Malta.
